A christening is short, but it matters to the whole family. Parents are busy with the baby, the guests and the logistics, so there’s rarely time for photos. We take care of it: from dressing the baby in white to the cake at the reception.
We don’t line people up for an hour of posed photos. Most of the work is documentary: natural gestures, glances, the grandparents’ and siblings’ reactions. Family portraits take just a few minutes, outside the church or in the restaurant garden.

Every package includes travel up to 40 km from Warsaw, editing of every photo (colour, light, crop) and full-resolution files for print plus a web version.
Two people, two jobs. When you book photos and film, two of us come: the photographer handles only the photos and the camera operator only the film. Nobody has to switch between a camera and a video rig, so we don’t miss the important moments.
We shoot on Fujifilm GFX100 II (medium format, 102 MP) and X-T5 (40 MP), which we also use to film in 4K.

Drone shots
A few aerial shots show the church where your child was christened and the reception venue in its setting: a garden, a manor house, the surrounding landscape. We also take a top-down photo of the whole family on the lawn outside the restaurant. With Photo + Film the drone footage goes into the clip and the film.
Drone shots: +450 PLN, included in Photo + Film. You get at least 8 aerial photos.
We fly by the rules: a certified operator flies the drone, every flight is filed in the DroneRadar app, and the equipment is insured. We never fly over gatherings of people or in restricted zones. Parts of Warsaw (e.g. around Chopin Airport and the very centre) restrict flights, and in rain or strong wind the drone stays in the bag. If a flight isn’t possible, we refund the surcharge.
How it works
- You write or call with the date and the parish. We confirm availability within 24 hours.
- We sign a short contract online. A 30% deposit secures the date.
- A week before the christening we agree the timeline, the key people and the group photos.
- We contact the parish and agree the rules for photography in church.
- On the day we arrive 15 minutes early and work discreetly.
- After 10–14 days you get a password-protected online gallery to share with the family.
In church
In church we work discreetly: no flash during the liturgy, only from the spots the parish priest allows. Before the ceremony we contact the parish, agree the rules and meet the parish and diocese requirements.
FAQ
Do you use flash near the baby?
No. In church we use available light, and our cameras handle low light well. At the reception we only bounce the flash off the ceiling, never straight at the baby.
What if the baby falls asleep or cries?
That’s normal and doesn’t stop us. A sleeping baby in mum’s arms is often the best photo of the day. We take the family portraits when the baby is calm.
Can we book only the film?
Yes, we’ll quote it individually. Most families choose Photo + Film, though, because photos and film complement each other.
How much is travel?
Travel up to 40 km from Warsaw is included. Beyond that we charge 2 PLN per km.
